Access Consultancy and Planning Supervisor Design Process
We provide comprehensive Access Consultancy services including the preparation of Disability Access Certificate Applications and Access Audits to assist our clients in fulfilling their obligations under the Building Control Regulations and Disability Act 2005.
A Disability Access Certificate is required for new buildings, other than dwellings, and for certain other actions including extending, materially altering or materially changing the use of a building. We prepare Disability Access Certificate Applications including compliance reports and drawings demonstrating how the works are to comply with the Building Regulations with reference to Technical Guidance Document M 2010.
In this process we work closely with all other members of the project design team to ensure that accessibility issues are dealt with as early as possible in the design process.
Our Access Audits are thorough appraisals of a building and its environs, identification of potential accessibility issues and advice on legal obligations.
